Privacy Policy
This policy explains the data LoadMerit (operated by King Tech Solutions LLC) collects, how we use it, and how to get it deleted.
Legal pages
Account data
We collect the email and profile details you provide to create and operate your account, including your default analysis preferences.
Payment data
Payments are processed by Stripe. We store purchase and subscription status to manage access; we do not store full card numbers.
Load details you enter
Loads, assumptions, and notes you enter are stored to your account so you can review and compare them. This is user-entered data — we do not verify or share it as market data.
AI prompt & output processing
Several features send text to an AI provider to produce wording. Which text depends on the feature:
- Negotiation scripts, risk notes and plain-English explanations. Sanitized engine outputs — the figures the calculator already produced — plus any notes you added.
- Academy coaching. The reasoning you typed on a practice scenario, with the scenario's own details.
- Smart Paste and the browser extension. The load text you paste or select, sent as written and truncated at 4,000 characters. We do not strip it first, so anything inside it — a broker's name, an email, a phone number — goes with it. Paste only what you want processed.
- Voice entry. What you dictate, transcribed by your browser, then sent as text.
We store inputs and outputs for debugging, billing, and abuse monitoring. Every one of these features works without AI: if it is unavailable, LoadMerit falls back to a fixed template or to entering the load by hand, and no text is sent.
Analytics, support & cookies
We record product analytics events, support messages, and the cookies needed to operate and improve the service. When you arrive from one of our ads we also use advertising measurement cookies, described in Advertising & measurement below.
To understand how people move through LoadMerit — for example, how many visitors who run a load go on to run a second one — we set a cookie containing a random identifier, and we store that identifier alongside the analytics events it produces. It is never sold or shared for anyone else's marketing.
While you are only browsing, the identifier is not connected to your name or email. That changes when you sign in or create an account. From then on, activity recorded from that browser can be associated with your account — including activity from before you signed up, a purchase you began beforehand and completed afterwards, and later activity from the same browser even while you are signed out.
The cookie itself expires after up to 180 days, and clearing cookies in your browser removes it — after which a new identifier is issued on your next visit. Clearing it does not delete analytics records already stored, which we keep until they are no longer useful for understanding how the product is used. To request deletion of data associated with your account, contact us at contact@loadmerit.com.
Where a link brings you to us from another site, we may record the campaign tags in that link and the referring site's domain name — for example "t.co" — so we can tell which channel is working. We store the domain only, never the full referring address. Only the first such arrival sets this; later visits are still recorded, but they do not replace the original source. The cookie holding it expires after up to 180 days, while the source copied onto analytics records is kept on the same basis as those records.
Advertising & measurement
We advertise LoadMerit on Google Search. When you arrive from one of those ads, Google's tag sets cookies in your browser so we can tell whether the visit led to something that matters to us — such as asking us to email you a guide, or starting a subscription. That is all this is for: knowing which ads are worth paying for.
We do not build advertising audiences or remarketing lists from it, and we do not use it to follow you around the web with ads. What Google receives is that a conversion happened and which campaign it belongs to. It does not receive your name, your email address, or anything you typed into a calculator.
You can turn off ad personalization on your Google account at adssettings.google.com, or opt out of measurement by participating advertisers at optout.networkadvertising.org. Blocking or clearing cookies in your browser also prevents it.
We don't sell your data
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
The one exception is advertising measurement. When you arrive from one of our ads, Google is told that a conversion happened and which campaign it belongs to, so we can measure what our advertising actually achieves. That transfer carries no name, no email address, and nothing you typed into a calculator, and we do not use it to build advertising audiences. See Advertising & measurement above.
Security
Stripe processes all payments — card numbers never touch LoadMerit. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our database provider, Supabase.
Retention, deletion & processors
You can request deletion of your account data by emailing contact@loadmerit.com. We use third-party processors (such as our hosting, database, payment, and AI providers) under their respective terms.
